December 6 Meeting

Our last meeting of 2014 went out with a bang! We began by doing the cup challenge, in which students built a cup tower using only yarn. It was amazing to see students work together so well!

We then finished our book trailers. Students worked very hard on them, and we were impressed with their final products. Below is a playlist that includes all of the trailers. Just click on it to view the entire list.

Finally, Clive Menzel was kind enough to come speak to our group about service learning as well as his time working for Nelson Mandela. We left his talk inspired to go out into the world and make a difference!

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported our program this year. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and we look forward to February 7, our first meeting in 2015!
