Students were greeted with a crime scene when they arrived on Saturday. Students were given time to observe and sketch the crime scene before we examined any of the evidence. The Vanderbilt police even stopped by to check it out!
We then analyzed the evidence and read about the suspects. Students tested DNA, identified fingerprints, tested the pH of the poisoned coke found at the scene of the crime, analyzed handwriting, and much more. They developed some very sophisticated theories based on the evidence. Some groups acted out what they thought happened, and other groups created wanted posters. Check out the reward amount on this one!
We ended with delicious cookies donated by Fido. Thank you Fido! We will be meeting at the Frist Center this Saturday, January 25 from 9-11am. Students need to be dropped off and picked up at the back entrance of the Frist. We hope to see everyone on Saturday!
